Volunteer Drum LLC cautions the Purchaser/End User that it is the sole responsibility of the end user to insure that the container purchased and used is the correct container for their application. New, Reconditioned, and Used drums are sold “AS IS”, with no warranty expressed nor implied as to their usability for any specific purpose.

Order Timeline
If orders are placed on a week day they will be processed the same day if the order is placed before 1 pm eastern standard time.
If orders are placed on a week day they will be processed the next business day (M-F) if the order is placed after 1 pm eastern standard time.
Orders will ship as early as one business day after the order is processed, but could be as late as the next business day after (example order placed on Thursday at 9 am est. could ship as early as the afternoon of Friday or as late as the afternoon of the following Monday) If you need expedited order processing or shipping we recommend you call us as these times listed above are standard practice.
Freight pickups are made in the afternoon as the carrier’s trucks are normally delivering their loads in the mornings.
If an order is shipped via common carrier less than truck load freight you can expect delivery in the morning the day of delivery but it could be as late as the afternoon or evening of that day! Normally the driver will contact you so please leave us a phone number when the order is placed.
Orders that ship freight that do not have a contact phone number will be delayed, if we can not obtain a phone number the order will be canceled and refunded (minus PayPal fee).
Things sometimes and DO happen! These are general guideline and timelines for deliveries. Freight shipping is more complex than small parcel shipping, but the shipping companies have become really good in the new online ordering, residential delivery world we live in.
Transit times start when the item is picked up, not when the order is placed.
Refund Policy
Orders can be canceled and refunded (minus fee) before items ship! PayPal charges us a fee for all transactions. If an order is placed in error, and or is canceled before items ship / physically leave Volunteer Drum property (see processing / shipping times above) the PayPal fee will be deducted from the order cancellation Refund. Please contact us if you feel an order was placed in error! Once an order has shipped all sales are final, NO refunds or exchanges. As there is no way to ensure that a container has been used for any purpose once it has left our facility. Online order payment is due in full before order will ship.
Payment will be returned through the same method of purchase.
Contact us for orders made in error! If Volunteer Drum does not successfully contact the customer to obtain information needed to process orders it will result in order being canceled and refunded (minus PayPal fee)!
The PayPal fee is about 3% of order total, taxes if applicable, and shipping costs!
Closure Statement
All drums must be closed according to manufacturer/re-conditioner closure instructions some of which are available here. Failure to do so will invalidate any and all UN certification markings on the container.
