We carry a wide selection of reconditioned tight head metal drums, primarily in the standard 55-gallon size. These drums can either be lined or unlined on the inside. It is our customers responsibility to know whether or not their chemical will react with a lined or unlined interior, as some chemicals can obliterate the epoxy phenolic lining and become mixed with your chemical or even cause the drum to leak.

Please note that we are not a reconditioning facility — we do not clean or repaint drums ourselves. However, we source our reconditioned drums exclusively from reputable reconditioners. These drums have been cleaned, leakproof tested, repainted, and properly marked as reconditioned by the company that performed the work. It’s important to understand these are not remanufactured or rebuilt, but rather refurbished containers that meet general reuse standards.

While reconditioned drums come with closure instructions, they do not include formal documentation such as Certificates of Compliance or test reports. If your application requires official documentation, we recommend purchasing new drums to ensure compliance with those specific requirements.
