• The Checkered Flag above the word Volunteer represents our drive and commitment as a company. It speaks to our passion for excellence and dedication to helping customers find reliable, affordable solutions — from everyday household containment to complex hazardous waste needs.

• The Cross in the center of the logo stands for our faith and core beliefs. It reminds us that our values and integrity are at the heart of everything we do, guiding our interactions with customers, partners, and each other.

• Finally, our employees bring a lifetime of experience to the table and are deeply passionate about their work. This collective knowledge and dedication allow us to provide top-quality service with honesty, reliability, and care.

Volunteer Drum was founded in 1995 by R. Jack Oody, a man known for his strong work ethic and Christian values. In 2011, after years of dedicated service, Jack retired and entrusted the company to his children, Tony Oody and Christy Green. Under their leadership, Volunteer Drum continues to uphold the same principles Jack instilled from the beginning — honesty, integrity, and a commitment to doing right by our customers.
