Terms & Conditions – Volunteer Drum LLC

By agreeing to the Terms & Conditions herein, the Purchaser/End User acknowledges and accepts the following:

Container Use Disclaimer

  • Reconditioned Containers: Any container labeled as "reconditioned" is not suitable for storing materials intended for human or animal consumption, including but not limited to water, food, or substances used to grow consumable plants. The reconditioning process may introduce chemicals that pose health risks. End users are strongly cautioned not to inhale near the container opening under any circumstances.
  • Used Containers: Volunteer Drum LLC makes no warranty regarding the functionality of used containers. Containers previously holding non-hazardous chemicals are also deemed unfit for consumable use. Used containers are not leak-tested. Reconditioned containers have undergone leak testing, and new containers may be manufactured from FDA-compliant materials and are also leak-tested.

End User Responsibility

  • It is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser/End User to ensure that the container selected is appropriate for their intended application. All containers—New, Reconditioned, and Used—are sold "AS IS", with no warranty expressed or implied regarding their suitability for any specific use.
  • All drums must be closed in accordance with the manufacturer's or reconditioner's closure instructions. Failure to follow these instructions will invalidate any UN certification markings on the container.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

  • If a customer selects an incorrect delivery address type or fails to indicate the need for a liftgate service in an effort to reduce shipping costs, additional charges will apply. These charges must be paid in full prior to shipment of order.
  • If the customer refuses to pay the additional fees, the order will be canceled and refunded, excluding any non-refundable fees incurred through third-party entities (e.g., payment processors, freight brokers).

California customers shall be made aware that everything known to man can cause cancer and is the responsibility of the end user to assure compliance to state laws and regulations.

Online customers are made aware of and shall review and agree upon the return & refund policy prior to purchasing any items from Volunteer Drum's website.
